Senior Programmes and Partnerships Design Manager | Social Care

£48,000 – £52,000 DOE

Head office located in Cheshire

Requirements

Strong experience on leading partnership projects within the charities/NFP organisations
A comprehensive understanding of the learning disability care sector
Able to work from the Cheshire head office at least once per week

Remit

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a leading providers of learning disability, autism, and mental health services across the UK. They support people across England and Scotland with a wide variety of care needs and are now looking for a Senior Programmes and Partnerships Design Manager to join the team.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable within health and social care and will have had previous experience working within a charity environment. You will be a strong relationship builder and a creative thinker who is able to bring exciting new partnership ideas to the table, and lead on putting these into action. You will be confident in managing a team and leading on new projects with external partners. You will report into the Director of Partnerships and Communities and will be responsible for a small team who will support in establishing new relationships and bringing new projects to life.

The Role

The successful candidate will identify opportunities for collaborations with external organisations, with some of the charities previous work including collaborations with large sporting organisations, partnerships with celebrities, as well as developing employment opportunity schemes for the individuals they support, working with public services to increase awareness of the challenges services users may face etc. you will be responsible for understanding what service users want to see from the charity and finding creative and innovative ways to bring that to life. You need to be somebody who is able to think outside of the box, but are also able to work strategically to create realistic action plans.

Location

This position will be based at home, but with a strong expectation that you will be present within the charity to staff and service users alike. You will also be expected to work from the head office in Widnes at least once a week.

Interview Process

The interview process will consist of 2 stages and will include a prepared presentation.
