Develop and manage the marketing mix for various abatement products, obtain and interpret the ‘voice of the customer’ to create market and product requirements for the factory teams, plan and manage the product life cycle to meet corporate objectives and strategies, interact and align with the regional teams to achieve revenue and unadjusted gross profit targets, and create and disseminate marketing collateral (business plan, price lists, product overview, competitor analysis, etc.)
  • Proactively propose new product introductions within the portfolio and agree priorities and deliverables for the roadmap with key stakeholders to achieve a competitive advantage.
  • Using feedback from the organisation and directly from the customers, generate sound business cases and work closely with NPI colleagues to develop successful new products to meet market requirements.
  • Create marketing collateral and training material for colleagues to articulate and deliver the value proposition of the products to the customers in a compelling manner, consistent with a solutions-based sales strategy.
  • Manage the marketing mix and roadmap(s) for the products, work with sector, business development, and communications managers to develop coherent product marketing plans, and communicate/align with internal and external customers on technology development.
  • Lead pricing policy and manage control to maintain profitability throughout the product lifecycle by planning/adjusting product(s) rollout, price, cost, discounts, and contribution via physical collateral and business software (SAP).
  • Work with colleagues to make sound evaluations of the market, competitors, customers and technologies in support of Sector Managers and Key Account Teams.
  • Champion the product within the organization to ensure adequate attention is given to both internal and external opportunities and threats, ensuring management understands the impact of options.
  • Develop good working relationships with, consult, and influence a wide range of stakeholders across the organization, particularly account teams, regional applications and product managers, sector managers, technical managers, project managers, and operations managers
Skills, Experience And Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in either engineering, chemistry, physics or material science, or relevant experience with the semiconductor industry in lieu of academic/professional qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience, including responsibilities such as project/product management, applications/process development, or technical/product marketing
  • Understanding and experience of the semiconductor or flat panel display industry preferred, but not essential.
  • Proficient knowledge and usage of office productivity software
  • Fluent spoken and written English essential.
  • Travel (up to 50%) domestically and internationally during certain phases of the product development cycle.
