Role: Senior Product DesignerQualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.Role Type: Full-Time, PermanentLocation: RemoteRole purposeThe Senior Product Designer connects customers and brands through the creation of intuitive interfaces, information architecture and customer experiences. The role is responsible for understanding users and designing world class experiences for them. The Senior Product Designer will look after newly formed product design team to visualise designs, options and solutions and acting as an advocate for the user and the value of customer experience. You will be responsible for ensuring multiple squads and teams are adhering to the same design principles to ensure consistency globally via the creation and maintenance of a design system.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:Responsible for the design of all digital assetsConduct user research and analysis to inform the design process and validate iterationsDesign and conduct stakeholder workshops to ensure briefs are understood and business sponsors are included in the design processLead the team in the development quality concept sketches, wireframes, prototypes, interaction specs and other artefacts to support an effective product development processContribute to consistent UX standards and ways of working across the products and platforms. Ensuring Data, Trading Marketing Performance and other key commercial sources are part of the design processCredible advocate for user-centred design and research within TravelexProactively identifies areas where UX can add value to the digital productsStays current on UX best practices and supports upskilling of othersSkills, knowledge, and experience:Must have:Experience leading small agile times in a matrix structureTranslate user and business goals into usable, intuitive customer experiencesCreated customer experiences that tangibly contribute to business goalsProduced high quality artefacts to enable development of product featuresPractical knowledge of UX role in agile Scrum methodology ways of workingInterprets and applies data, research, and insight to inform design decisionsPragmatic and can balance needs of user and the businessCommitment to quality with a drive to own and resolve problemsPreferred:Knowledge of the financial industry including compliance and riskBachelor’s degree in UXD or a relative qualification and/or experienceExperience working within a global company and remote teamsTechnical / professional qualifications and experience:Expert in Figma or other design toolsWorking knowledge of MV testing and personalisation platformsExcellent knowledge of working tools i.e., Microsoft Office 365, Miro, Trello, Jira, and ConfluenceKeen interest in emerging technologiesDirect reports:1 Product DesignerWhat’s in it for you?We believe our colleagues are our key differentiator.
