We are looking for a highly capable leader who is player, delivery and people focused to join our talented team, to develop the next generation of games for console and PC. Your extensive knowledge, experience and structured approach to making great games has been tempered by your ability to maintain great relationships with team members, partners, clients, gamers and senior management. You always keep a cool head making the difficult decisions, even if it makes you unpopular, and others come to you for consistency and direction.

This position is ideally suited for someone working full time from our Middlesbrough office, however we are open to part home working.

Currently Double Eleven is working fully remotely and we continue to assess the COVID-19 situation, with the safety of our staff our top priority. We’re still actively recruiting and onboarding new staff and will provide you with everything you need to join remotely until it’s safe to return to the studio.

A Senior Producer at Double Eleven is a key decision maker on a project, responsible for leading the production team to deliver on the vision and its goals. Armed with a strong knowledge of games development fundamentals, you’ll have a deep understanding of art, design and technical aspects as well as live phase areas including: in game economies and events, feature development, community management and product roadmap planning.

Above all else, a Senior Producer has real passion for games, development and is an exemplar communicator. Expectations are very high given our reputation in the industry. In addition to experience and skill, we place great emphasis on integrity, working hard and team solidarity.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Be a strategic, people oriented leader helping empower others by building an environment of team ownership, personal accountability, recognition, appreciation, collaboration and constructive feedback
  • Establish goals with capable team management to help deliver a game’s vision and guide the team in determining what truly returns player value for the effort Be focused on managing the execution of the game development process to produce high quality content within schedule, quality, and budget taking the right path even if it’s unpopular or challenging
  • Work with the senior management team and partners on budget setting, project planning, decision making and agreeing deliverable content
  • Be part of a development led business development team becoming a trusted advisor and senior stakeholder to our partners
  • Foresee and communicate risks and obstacles to all stakeholders
  • Set expectations both internally and with our external development partners through clear documentation and communication
  • Recommend and implement new processes where efficiencies are needed to improve quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery
  • As a gamer applying your knowledge of what impacts the player experience to facilitate the improvement of the overall experience
  • Lead and deliver game pitches
  • Develop and utilise research and analytics to process large, complex sets of information to improve our games for our players
  • Be an ambassador of our company and our values to partners, the general public or anyone else we engage with on our journey
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Credited on at least 3 PC or console titles in an internal production capacity or have at least 7 years of experience in production, within the games industry
  • Proven track record in the leadership of a production team
  • Management experience spanning employee selection & development, performance management, conflict resolution, budgeting, and project planning
  • Demonstrated experience leading significant project changes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent time management, multitasking skills and the ability to process complex information efficiently
  • Ability to motivate and be able to lead by example
  • High level of personal drive and standards
  • Excellent communicator who can engage with people up and down an organisation in adapting both content and tone through a variety of means; online, face to face, presentation or written, internally and externally
  • Meticulous attention to detail and impeccable organisational skills
  • Possess knowledge of current trends and happenings in the video game industry
  • Experience of mentoring other members of a production team in their career development, coaching them through decision making, conflict resolution, and general production skills
  • Skills, interests or experience considered a bonus: Managed PC or Console titles with live or post launch content phases
  • Industry experience on both development and publisher sides
  • Expertise in one area in addition to production. (e.g. design, engineering, art)
  • Business management experience
  • Programming or other technical experience
  • Experience with SCRUM or AGILE methodologies
