Are you looking for a Senior Process Engineer role with scope for development?

Our client offers a full suite of in-house services including process and engineering design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning for Exchange Heaters, Boilers, Superheaters, and Flare Gas Recovery Packages supply to the energy industry. Working across oil and gas, process, power and pharmaceutical industries, our client delivers often complex and challenging construction projects with precision and accuracy.

They are a professional multi-disciplinary engineering practice with a passion for excellence, innovation, and environmental sustainability. Throughout every project, they use their construction and engineering experience and their knowledge of the client’s business to add value.

The Role

They are now looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible, under the leadership of the General Manager for the internal day-to-day management of small to medium scale projects from £1/4M to £5M. The ability to operate as part of a wider project team and to represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients and outside organisations is required for the role. The candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and to coordinate their work with others, with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Technically approve the selection of external professional services and consultants.
  • Supervise the work of designers and engineers.
  • Ensure that engineering complies with relevant engineering specifications and standards.
  • Prepare realistic man-hour estimates for discipline engineering for proposal and projects.
  • Consider design problems and determine the most cost -effective solution.
The Person
  • Experience in the process design of Fired Heaters and or Flare and Flare Ignition Systems.
  • Experience in the process design of oil and gas/power generation skid packages.
  • Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) or a European Engineer (EUR.ING).
  • Experience with an engineering design contractor.

Some UK and international travelling occasionally required for different projects. At this time, the Company is not looking to sponsor overseas candidates due to the urgency of this role to be filled.
