About The Opportunity

We have been appointed as a manufacturing program partner for a major infrastructure development program.

We will be covering the full project lifecycle from developing initial designs and concepts into detail design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be required to Lead a team of more junior engineers in the engineering delivery of projects to time, cost and quality.

In particular, you will
  • Lead functional input to own projects, including where relevant leading the input of other engineers
  • Carry out engineering calculations and check the work of more junior staff
  • Ensure that own work and that of more junior engineers on a project complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures
  • Develop P&IDs
  • Perform process simulations
  • Design safety incl HAZOP process
  • Perform equipment sizing
  • Provide functional support and guidance to more junior staff to develop both them as individuals and the capability of the team as a whole
  • Carry out commissioning activities at client site as required, to ensure successful engineering handover.
  • Recognise and address potential and actual cross-discipline issues and conflicts
Here’s What You’ll Need
  • Professional qualifications
  • Experience in relevant project design work
  • Experience of managing a team of engineers
  • Basic project management skills
  • Relevant site experience
  • Experience of working within a 3D model environment using variety of packages
  • Multi discipline project execution experience working to a RIBA gated process
