About the role
Senior/Principle SAS Programmer,

MBN are delighted to work with our client, a leading pharmaceutical company to appoint a Senior/Principle SAS Programmer. In the role you will play a crucial role in the design, growth, and implementation of statistical programming solutions to assist clinical trial data analysis and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the programming activities for clinical studies across all phases of drug development
- Develop and validate SAS programs for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to study protocols and regulatory
- Knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in statistical programming
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in statistical programming and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SAS Programmer in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on clinical trial programming.
- Proficiency in SAS programming language (Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH) and experience working with clinical trial data (SDTM, ADaM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
