This is an excellent opportunity to join our Adolescent Team as a Senior Practitioner. You will be providing statutory assessments and interventions in relation to vulnerable young people between the age of 11 -17.
You will manage a range of complex cases, working closely with key internal and external partners including, Youth, Early Help, Housing, Police, Health and Education to effectively respond to the needs of the child.
You must be able to demonstrate expert and effective practice that reflects a commitment to relationship and strengths-based practice, assessing and managing higher levels of risk and working collaboratively with children, young people and their families and carers.
As a registered social worker with 3 years’ post qualifying experience, you will be expected to have knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance relevant to working with children and young people and experience of working in a similar team. You will also have experience of providing expert advice and support to less experienced staff on aspects of casework and where appropriate act as a Practice Assessor for students on placement.
