We’re now recruiting a Platform Engineer to align with and deliver continuous improvements to ourAJ Bell Investcentre platform.The Investcentre team is responsible for developing and enhancing our platforms for our advisers and clients.

About The Role
  • To guide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality products
  • Consider architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team to deliver

  • Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement and building a high-performance engineering team
What Skills You Will Need
  • Minimum 4-5 year experience delivering & maintaining an application stack on AWS
  • Minimum 4-5 year experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux server configuration and management
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CloudFront) build, test, and deploy in an automated pipeline or workflow
  • Knowledge of scripting languages Bash, Groovy, PowerShell
  • Knowledge of with containers creation and management
  • Knowledge of source control, i.e. Bitbucket, GitHub
  • Experience with micro services architecture
  • Database experience with MongoDB, MySQL
  • Comfortable in an Agile product engineering environment
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Very motivated with high levels of drive and enthusiasm
  • E-commerce and/or financial services experience highly desirable
