Senior Office Administrator and Customer Services

Salary £20,000 - £25,000 (experience dependent)

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity to join a long-established envelope manufacturer responsible for supporting the Sales and Customer Service Team.

Delivering exceptional customer service and undertaking general office functions within a busy and fast-moving envelope manufacturing and printing business.

You will be trained and mentored to develop your knowledge of our specific systems, process and product range and quickly build an understanding of each customer’s specific requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administrative duties related to the Sales Team customer base
  • Support Customer Service Team to allow them to focus on quoting and existing business development
  • Speak with customers daily, dealing with issues and bookings and providing excellent customer service
  • Liaise with the Production Team to provide accurate job details for correct production and timely delivery
  • To maintain good administration practice, including using management and to create job bags, delivery notices and invoices
  • To use IT, including emails, Microsoft applications, and printing documents
  • General office/administration duties as required.

We require someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent telephone manner with a positive and confident personality
  • An experienced background in customer service
  • Strong experience of data entry / use of excel
  • Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently
  • Ideally experience or a background in freight forwarding or logistics
  • The ability to proactively deal with issues and use initiative to problem solve

Job Details:

  • Full-time office based - Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
