Although based in Basingstoke, our team are currently offering both virtual and patient facing appointments, and home working forms part of this role for the future.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse to join the Specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder Service in Hampshire. Supporting our delivery in the North of Hampshire, supervising nurses and supporting our clinical lead nurse in developing our nursing offer across the service pathways and aligning within the systemic model.

We are looking for a highly motivated practitioner; preferably with experience of working with young people but experience with young adults or adults with eating disorders also relevant.

We welcome applications from practitioners who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, flexible and resourceful, with a passion for working creatively and collaboratively with children and young people with eating disorders and their families.

The successful applicant will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team working with children, young people and families in Hampshire.

The team work across a number of Hubs and the agreed base for working will be discussed after interview. Travelling is essential for the role.

Excellent team working will be an essential component to the post. The role will identify and deliver relevant treatments and interventions; liaising where appropriate with families, carer’s and the professional network.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good level of initiative.

The post holder will be required to take on other identified responsibilities suitable for the banding. Experience in systemic working, crisis interventions and physical assessment will be an advantage.

You will be supported within the team by senior clinicians and will work closely with other specialists within the service. Clinical supervision and professional leadership will be provided.
