Yelp is looking for a Product Manager to help lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our Business application of User Intelligence data. In this role, you’ll be expected to work with your team to leverage state-of-the-art intelligence about our users to drive the overall Business Products team at Yelp. Machine learning problems in this space include high-impact business products in areas like store visit attribution and building user segments for off-platform ad retargeting.

The culture at Yelp is nimble and fun and you’ll work with a cross-functional group of product managers, ML engineers, Biz Ops teams, and data scientists. You’ll have full ownership of the product you’re working on and will be able to make fast decisions in a highly collaborative environment. Yelp also has a rich dataset of over 100M users/month visiting our platform which lends itself to incredibly fun problem space.

We’d love you to apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single point in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.

Where You Come In
  • Take charge in deeply analysing user behaviour to develop dynamic segmentation models
  • Have a healthy obsession for experimentation and data: validating hypotheses & iterating quickly
  • Lead the product lifecycle: talk with customers, create OKRs, write product requirements, prioritize backlogs, and work closely with engineering to deliver winning products and measure the impact they have
  • Play a key role in ensuring that product efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals
What It Takes To Succeed
  • Based or willing to relocate within the United Kingdom
  • Problem solver: loves to figure out complex, unstructured problems and constantly thinks about how to make processes more efficient; you can do your own analysis using iPython and SQL
  • Ability to bring focus: knows what matters most to make the business successful and are able to effectively translate that focus to the team
  • Bias towards action: you’re a great collaborator, master disambiguator, and are constantly pushing toward clarity and results
  • Experience managing the development process: you know how to make things happen
  • Energized by driving revenue growth and translating customers’ wants and needs into concrete features
  • Ability to communicate with many stakeholders across different parts of the organization
What You’ll Get
  • Full responsibility for projects from day one, an awesome team, and a dynamic work environment
  • Competitive salary with equity in the company, a pension scheme, and an optional employee stock purchase program
  • 25 days paid holiday initially (rising to 29 with service), plus one floating holiday
  • Private health insurance, including dental and vision
  • Flexible working hours and meeting-free Wednesdays
  • Regular 3-day Hackathons and weekly learning groups, always with interesting topics
  • Opportunities to participate in digital events and conferences
  • £58 per month toward any wellness activity of your choice
  • Quarterly team offsites
