Job Description


This is a varied role where you will work on a huge product line and be at the forefront of keeping Rotork a market leader in our industry. On offer is the chance to work with a dynamic team of switched on engineers and be supported with further development like chartership.

Reporting to the Team Lead with the Product Improvement team, you will with as part of a smaller, immediate team but within a larger, wider engineering function in the business.

In this role you will be responsible for improving the wide range of products, enhancing and driving solutions yourself and helping other, less senior members of the team. You will develop, introduce and use industry best practice design techniques, ensuring you have a tangible effect on the way the team operates, and the direction projects take.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be adaptable to dynamic projects and able to work well with individuals from all walks of life.


Qualifications


Experience Requirements:

  • Experience designing mechanical components
  • Knowledge of using best practice design techniques
  • Experience of project planning and signing off on other team member’s work


The Successful Candidate:

  • Strong problem-solving skills focussed on both customer and business outcomes
  • Adaptable, able to work under pressure and cope with the unexpected
  • Ability to work well both on your own and in a team environment
