Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £ 23,015 + pay award pending

Are you an accomplished marketer with the ability to positively influence our reputation, using both digital and traditional methods?

An exciting opportunity currently exists to join our professional services team, where you will be pivotal in supporting our key vision to transform lives through Education.

We are seeking a highly competent Senior Marketing Officer to help develop and implement the Trust’s marketing strategy and project plans to inform the positioning of the Trust within the education environment and to enhance it’s reputation.

The role of Senior Marketing Officer is vital in providing professional support and guidance across all of our academies and to our wider community. You will be a valuable member of the team, managing various marketing projects throughout the year.

Supporting the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will:

  • Deliver valuable insight and advice derived from wide ranging market research and data analysis to support the positioning of the Trust
  • Be responsible for influencing the trust wide marketing policy through strong collaboration with our academies and other central teams
  • Work strategically to deliver multiple projects to successful completion

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in developing institutional strategy and policy
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing and communications function to include a good understanding of specialised marketing processes, such as print production and advertising as well as branding and visual identity guidelines
  • Good, up to date understanding of online communications and marketing channels and appropriate use within a marketing context
  • An innovative and agile approach to strategic challenges
  • Excellent presenting skills and the capability to deliver creative ideas to key stakeholders/managers
