Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Manager - Technology Strategy into their Leeds based Technology Strategy and Consulting team. This function supports clients across all aspects of Technology Change, Project and Programme Management, IT strategy and governance. They are looking to recruit a Senior Manager - Technology Strategy who may have experience of consulting on ERP solutions, cloud computing, applications strategy, application development, applications maintenance and mobile solutions, providing solution architecture reviews and roadmap development.

The Senior Manager - Technology Strategy will have expertise in one or more of the above areas but will also:
  • Help identify and develop further opportunities at new and existing clients;
  • Develop comprehensive and well thought out solutions to complex problems;
  • Build market relevant service offerings to ensure greater visibility and exploitation of key technology opportunities with clients;
  • Work with Directors, Partners and third parties to develop go-to-market propositions;
  • Contribute to practice management and development, e.g. knowledge sharing, training, proposition development, and knowledge management.
  • Support more junior team members to develop strong consulting skills.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in your application, you should have the following skills, experience and qualifications
  • Proven experience of developing IT strategies in a range of complex environments, with a focus on leveraging cloud and other emerging technologies;
  • Experience of IT Operating Model design;
  • IT Cost optimisation;
  • Experience of using Agile delivery, particularly at scale and in large organisations;
  • Proven stakeholder engagement at all levels;
  • Consulting experience would be desirable but is not essential;
  • Experience working with a range of small, medium and large corporate clients.
