What we offer:
Reporting to Director Intralogistics as part of the Linde Logistics Solutions team, the main purpose of this role is to Manage the sales team of all storage products such as pallet racking, shelving and shuttles to meet the agreed sales target revenue to new and existing KION customers. This role will be home-based but with significant UK travel and with overnight stays as required.
Strong leadership and Team management and development is an essential skill required for this role.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Management of Storage Solutions sales team
  • Capacity management for direct reports
  • Coaching and development of direct report/s
  • Ensure 100% compliance of all core HR processes
  • Identify opportunities to expand/ extend business, and exceptionally serving the client
  • Drive strong communications within and outside of the department, to allow for team and individual continuous improvement, collaborating with other senior management to formulate strategy and direction
  • Take responsibility for budget and forecast preparation ensuring tight control and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws, GDPR for example
Increase sales of pallet racking, shelving, drive-in racking, pallet live, shuttle racking, mezzanine floors and associated products
  • Develop and implement a go to market strategy for Storage Solutions
  • To see tenders through to completion
  • To promote pallet racking sales through our KION network.
  • Visiting customer installation to assess requirements and visiting end users to ensure solution satisfaction.
  • The ability to undertake and complete customer site surveys.
  • Designing and drawing pallet racking installation using AutoCAD.
  • The production of costing and proposals for customers working with external suppliers
  • Monitoring and reporting of forecast and sales.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to optimize our product offering within the UK market.
