The opportunity

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be at the heart of our ambition to help clients transform and grow their business. This role is, helping clients to shape innovative solutions which deliver results. We are looking for individuals who have a proven track record of aligning target business vision and requirements with enterprise solutions by collaborating with wider stakeholders, including solution architects, to identify the target state blueprints and architecture vision for the enterprise. Someone who has deep knowledge of architectural standards, governance approach, templates, and patterns for enterprise architecture, with the ability to develop enterprise strategies and processes.

EY operates across all industry sectors and currently is seeking individuals with cross industry expertise, though we are experiencing high demand in Telco & Media, Health Sciences & Wellbeing, and Consumer Products. This role offers the opportunity to build experience and bring your wealth of technology expertise to clients in new and diverse projects, each with their own unique set of challenges.

The role requires excellent business and technology understanding, as well as significant experience in technology strategy and selection. We are seeking candidates who can evidence a broader consulting skill set. This role will be based out of the UK with flexible working arrangement. This role requires travel from time-to-time to both domestic and international locations depending on client needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Senior Manager – Enterprise Architecture within Technology Transformation you will have responsibility for:

• Developing enterprise architecture strategy that enables value and growth across the client’s business
• The effective management and delivery of complex architecture and solutions, maintaining focus on quality and risk management.
• Building and managing client relationships, revenue generation and for managing commercial relationships.
• Providing leadership and direction to the team across multiple activities.
• Providing deep insight in a function or specialism through analysis and knowledge of best practices to solve complex problems, driving thought leadership and innovation
• Identifying new technologies which can make a material impact on the sector and competitive advantage
• Explaining technology trends and vendor roadmaps in terms for business impact
• Developing proposals, responding to client requirements, providing subject matter expertise
  
  

Key Skills And Attributes For Success

• Design and develop policies, standards, guidelines, roadmaps, and strategy that affect the selection, design, development, implementation, maintenance and use of technology within the organization.
• Advanced knowledge of and ability to frame key business and technology trends within the context of the client’s objectives. Ability to identify the potential implications and impacts of the associated trends.
• Ability to introduce innovative ways of organising, managing, and integrating data to ensure its quality and ability to be used as a distinctive asset to generate a return. Ability to align the data strategy with relevant legislation and business strategies.
• Ability to create and evolve an enterprise’s guiding principles and business architecture including organization structure, process architecture, supporting information, applications, and technology to facilitate the evolution of the enterprise to its desired state.
• Knowledge of organizational, IT industry leading practice and market relevant policies, standards, and procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to use methods and tools to develop a roadmap for the future state of technology which aligns the architecture and processes with business strategies and objectives.
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Cloud (Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google) in the context of enterprise architecture and domain reference models.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Platforms (SAP, ServiceNow, PowerApps etc) and how they fit in context of enterprise architecture and domain reference models.
• Very good written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
• Confidence to support meetings with client sponsors, management, and individual contributors.
