We are now recruiting for a Senior Manager, Business Process Management Supply Chainto join our diverse global team. The role is responsible for working with stakeholders across AbbVie to drive Supply Chain Execution process strategy and support Supply Planning strategy. Of primary importance is initiating, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative integrated business solutions while owning the Target Operating Model for Supply Chain processes. The role represents Supply Chain towards BTS and other Global Process Leads. The successful person will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes through standardisation and elimination of waste across the global network. This role will have a team of direct reports.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Senior Manager, Business Process Management would be:

  • Drives business process strategies for supply Chain by partnering with IME, QA, and other key functions to deliver key strategic projects and initiatives globally
  • Support the development and implementation of supply chain long range plans, and functional Multiyear Technology Road maps
  • Engages and aligns on business process strategies for SC by partnering across all functions within Supply Chain
  • Manage a team of Process leads and project Managers to deliver solutions for the business
  • Ensure Supply Chain BTS, SAP teams and Global Process Leads are aligned in delivering optimal and robust solutions for the business driving effectiveness and efficiency
  • Prepares business cases to support improvement opportunities, create and prioritize change requests within Operations and across AbbVie
  • Engages collaboratively with Global Process Leads from Operations, commercial and Finance organization, Purchasing, BTS , AbbVie Business Support and other groups to ensure required support levels are provided to Supply Chain projects
  • Designs and implements an appropriate governance approach around supply Chain and ensure target operating model adherence and to meet current and future business needs.
  • Works closely with the Global Process Leads community and BTS to ensure strategy and execution alignment. Drive Target Operating Model governance, adherence and development by working with SME’s and engaging and developing a global key user community develop tools and KPI’s to support the supply chain community and enable better business process visibility, delivering better decision making and business improvement.
  • Provide project management for strategic Supply Chain Projects and provide business support as needed in case of on-boarding network nodes on the Supply Chain
  • Identifies pain points and improvement opportunities for network nodes globally, identify process improvements that enhance AbbVie capability to act with agility and high levels of compliance and standardization.
  • Lead global cross-functional team projects to meet department/functional goals.
  • Coordinate with AbbVie Finance Shared Service and MMD team in adhering to all master data standard processes and agreed SLAs.

So, what do you need to do this role?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, MBA preferred. Supply Chain qualifications preferred
  • 8+ years of distribution, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement and/or program management experience
  • Strong conceptual and working knowledge of supply planning and execution functionality and processes.
  • Strategic business understanding and vision, and the ability to translate strategy into tactical execution
  • Broad program management experience with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with a strong focus on process improvement and change management
  • Demonstrated success as a collaborative team player and have a broad, diverse, cross-functional or cross divisional experience with the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Strong people Manager with ability to lead high performing team of professionals
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in running cross business teams and governance processes
  • Solid interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure buy in at various levels and within and across various functions of the organization. Flexible, ability to organize and prioritize, results driven with little direction or supervision
