We are looking for a highly motivated individuals with experience within a complex and dynamic financial management environment to join the team

The successful applicants will be enthusiastic, driven individuals with excellent interpersonal skills and proven track record of excellence in Financial Management

One post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an effective service supporting a number of Trustwide projects/areas, systems and providing support to a small number of areas in the Corporate Division.

The work will include writing and presenting financial reports, assisting in the costing of Business Cases and supporting efficiency programmes with expert financial advice

The post holder will also provide support to Finance Manager and their Deputy in the Trust’s monthly management accounts reporting process and financial forecasting

The postholder will be part of a team who are responsible for financial advice, information and other financial input (e.g. business planning, service level agreements, costing and market testing) to a range of services. In addition they will assist in specific Division-wide or Trust-wide projects where the work cannot be divided into separate teams due to the necessity for a single and consistent output and approach.

To participate in the monthly management accounting process, ensuring the correct accounting treatment of provisions made, and that the strict reporting deadlines are adhered to. Delegate and manage completion of tasks as appropriate

To provide cover for urgent queries in the absence of the Deputy Finance Manager seeking advice on issues arising and/or passing these on to the Finance Manager or Head of Financial Management as appropriate. To ensure the team continue to function effectively and all duties are performed in the absence of the DFM
