Senior Management Accountant | SaaS scaleup

Hybrid - WFH & City office

£50/55k + options

Talentedge are proud to be exclusively working with a VC backed (Series B) SaaS scaleup who are currently the fastest growing business in the UK within their vertical.

Having secured a high profile CFO, as well as having multiple Series C term sheets on the table from Tier 1 UK and international VC’s (existing investors included), this is a very exciting time to join.


In what is a newly created role reporting into a Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day finance activities. Key responsibilities to include:


  • Production of consolidated monthly management accounts (GBP / USD / EUR)
  • Statutory accounting – Prepare the business for their first-year audit and act as the point of contact for external auditors
  • Tax work including R&D and VAT
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition treatment of SaaS contracts
  • Support on company-wide budgeting, forecasting and planning
  • Overseeing two Finance Assistants who are responsible for transactional finance (AP / AR / billing etc), automating using technology where possible
  • Contribute to the design and roll out of scalable processes

Profile:

  • Qualified accountant with high-growth tech sector experience (SaaS is advantageous however non-essential)
  • Experience of using Xero & its’ wider ecosystem of apps and plugins
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets exposure
  • Commercially minded with a can-do, “roll your sleeves up” attitude
