Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant FP&A - Projects and ECS on a permanent basis based in Aberdeen, UK.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting
  • Preparation and review of accurate financial results in line with reporting deadlines for group along with narrative to explain results.
  • Co-ordination of reporting from foreign entities which feed into the Service Line results.
  • Responsible for reporting and reconciliations of sales and cost accruals.
Business Support
  • Maintain relationship as business partner to Service Line leader.
  • Support the Service Line leader in understanding results and explaining variations to budgets and reforecasting.
  • Input to business capture process, tracking Service Line forecasted priorities.
  • Support Service Line with new business strategy, analysing opportunities and providing business case for investment.
  • Develop hedging strategies in relation to FX.
Budgeting and reforecasting
  • Responsible for the bottom-up preparation of budgets for the Service Lines including preparation of reports and slides to analyse projected results, identify risks and summarise budget assumptions.
  • Preparation of monthly rolling forecasts to support the Finance monthly reviews with senior leadership.
  • Work with Business Development in developing pipeline numbers for budgeting and forecasting.
Management and development of staff and processes
  • Maximise the efficiency of reporting and budgeting processes including reports used in Oracle, Hyperion, FCCS & EPBCS (once live) ensuring the cost of meeting our reporting requirements is minimised.
Essential Skills
  • An accountancy qualification is essential.
  • Minimum years of experience in a financial or commercial role.
  • ERP experience is essential. Knowledge of Hyperion reporting solutions is preferred.
  • Experience in an international group of companies is preferred.
