SENIOR IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN / RUNCORN / UP TO £30,000 + GREAT BENEFITS
Exciting new opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated Senior IT Support Technician to join a long-standing, award-winning organisation.

Due to our continued growth, we are now seeking a talented Senior IT Support Technician. Reporting to the IT Manager, and deputising in his absence, you will have 3-4 years’ experience working in a SMB environment.

Key Responsibilities Of The Senior IT Support Technician
  • Oversee the day-to-day support for Head Office and remote colleagues.
  • Assisting with 1st-3rd line support calls, troubleshooting, and resolving complex IT issues.
  • Working alongside the IT Leadership team you will be responsible for all IT systems, hardware, software, licencing, governance, architecture, uptime and QoS.
  • Managing networking, Lan, Wan, Wi-Fi and remote connectivity, supporting and maintaining the organisations Active directory, Microsoft windows servers and VMware infrastructure.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Knowledge of standard operating systems Microsoft Windows 10, mac OSX and Android
  • Previous experience in Microsoft server 2012 upwards administration, installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skill in Office 365, MS Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure and Teams, combined with knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 including supporting a VMWare infrastructure.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer-services to users.
