This retail group based in Hertfordshire is looking to recruit a Senior IT Project Manager to join their highly skilled team and deliver a wide range of projects in a fast-paced environment. As a successful candidate you will lead and oversee programmes and projects using a solid understanding of project lifecycle delivery, technology and change management techniques.

You will be responsible for a small team and work closely with senior business stakeholders to determine objectives, business benefits and resource allocation for projects. You will have overall accountability and responsibility for completion of "owned" projects to time, budget, and quality expectations.

Skills / Duties
  • Manage, monitor, and develop team members as assigned
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify project objectives and key products to be delivered
  • Develop project briefs, agree project plan baseline including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, and deadlines
  • Develop and maintain Business Cases
  • Drive project execution: track delivery, expect, monitor, and control change, own change management, pro-actively seek and resolve blockers
  • Provide accurate and concise information to support raising project funds
  • Requirement to travel within the UK to various offices nationally as required, mainly within Hertfordshire. Remote working will be possible to an extent.
Experience
  • Successfully leading and delivering projects on-time on budget and that deliver fit for purpose solutions
  • Practical IT Project Management experience delivering into a multi-location organisation
  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrate good communication skills both technical and non-technical
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification or equivalent
  • Agile Certification
