About the roleThis role offers an opportunity to deliver a transformation programme which impacts each of Dyson’s c 15,000 employees worldwide.As an organisation which designs, manufactures and retails a highly innovative range of products, and invests heavily in the latest technology to support its significant growth ambitions, the Dyson employee population covers a great variety of end user needs.The scope of the programme goes way beyond supporting the standard technology requirements of an office based user population - giving this role variety, and offering plenty of development opportunities.A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.Our Digital Workplace Services teamDeliver world class Service Desk, End User Computing, Collaboration, Legal, HR and Estates IT Services to Dyson’s global employeesEnsure ITIL aligned governance and standards are followedDrive continual improvement into the Digital Workplace services spaceDeliver a roadmap for Digital Workplace services, to drive transformation required to support Dyson’s blueprintMaintain strong relationships with the business, ensuring regular communication of service requirements, service improvements, risks, service changes, service outages and service issuesAbout youEssential Experience:IT project management: a proven record of delivering complex projects with budgets in excess of £1m, in large global organisations.Digital Workplace related project delivery e.g. end user computing, M365The project and programme lifecycle, including development of business cases, mobilisation of programmes, development, delivery, release and project closureSuccessfully leading large multi-disciplinary project teams across multiple organisations and locationsUnderstanding and balancing global standards and specifications against regional requirementsBriefing and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, including Budget management and financial reportingBusiness case development and benefit realisationMatrix managementA project management qualification (e.g. APM, Prince2 or PMI)Desirable Experience:In a consultancy or other professional services organisationWorking with 3rd party and/or offshore teamsOf value tender / vendor selectionsOf team management and mentoring and training junior project managersThe role could be based onsite, either at Malmesbury or Bristol (or split).
