The motor finance & leasing design team work with two of the largest brands in the industry, Lex Autolease & Blackhorse finance. Together we finance over 1m vehicles on the UK’s roads with over 80k of these being electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles.

There has never been a more exciting time to join the motor finance industry. We as a group aim to reduce the carbon emissions we finance by more than 50% by 2030 and be net zero by 2050. We work with manufacturers who are at the forefront of EV adoption and we serve personal customers through to UK corporates as their chosen motor finance partner.

Interaction design is about the creation and management of dialogue between a person and a product, system, or service. By combining an understanding of the system user, the context in which the interaction takes place and a knowledge of information presentation the Lead interaction designer can ensure that the interaction is timely, effective and emotionally rewarding. It cuts down development costs, increases revenue, motivates our users to interact with our content and Increases our customer loyalty.

So what exactly would you be responsible for?

To Inject empathy & creativity into the work of a multidisciplinary team of designers, product owners & engineers, ensuring customer focus through everything they do. You’ll develop deep empathy for people, understanding their needs, aspirations and challenges. Share knowledge & improve design methods as an active member of the Design community.

About you

• Proven and demonstrable experience of UX design in an agile environment.
  
  

• Advanced skills in journey mapping, wireframing and prototyping.
  
  

• Knowledge of interaction design and responsive design best practices.
  
  

• Fully proficient in design tools such as Sketch, InVision and Figma
  
  

• Experience of working within a component driven design language and within brand guidelines.
  
  

• Comfortable managing your workflow, presenting work and influencing stakeholders from digital and non-digital backgrounds.
