My client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to provide a pivotal role within the organisation where you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the product application of the companies offering. In addition you will provide an integral role to the companies access control and general security whilst also creating a DevOps environment for the development teams which is their number one priority for this position.

So in a nutshell - we are looking for someone who has strong Infrastructure background with an aspiration to improve / train up your DevOps skills in AWS.

This is a fully remote first role, but there is a requirement to work in their head office in Sheffield 1 day a month.

The successful Infrastructure Engineer will possess the following skills and experiences
  • Server maintenance, support and troubleshooting
  • Security policies for company employees
  • Working with various 3rd parties
  • Alert and monitoring systems
In addition to the above areas you will have a diverse infrastructure background working with multiple systems.

Then you will be required and have the ability to up skill in the following areas
  • AWS & Elastic Container Services
  • Terraform - infrastructure as code
  • Docker - building and deploying containers
