Our client is a leading National IFA who now have a requirement for an experienced IFA Sales Manager.

You will have strong leadership skills, as you will be required to manage a team of 15 IFA’s, 10 established. Covering both Private Wealth and Medical clientele. Must be located within commutable distance of Basingstoke, this is an office-based role. Must have a strong financial services background IFA would be of advantage however bank assurance will be considered.

The achievement of the Company revenue and EBIT target through the delivery of a team target. As part of the regional management team, the Senior Manager is responsible for the achievement of their individual office revenue targets whilst maintaining or improving profit margins contributing to the overall Company revenue and EBIT expectations. This must be achieved by adhering to the groups Business Standards and Regulatory requirements, through a team of Private Client Advisers, Corporate Consultants and Advisers where applicable.

To develop objectives, business plans and targets for their individual teams.

To develop, coach and motivate the Advisers to ensure performance targets and company standards within the FCA regulatory framework are achieved.

Reporting to the Regional Manager as part of the regional management team.

The role holder will be responsible for the direct line management of a team of Private Client Advisers and Corporate Consultants where applicable.

Although having no direct line management responsibility for the admin support team it will be expected that the Senior Manager, Operations Manager and Paraplanner Manager will work closely together to ensure all objectives are met and resources are utilised to achieve the needs of the business.

The role holder will also be expected to develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Corporate Advice Team in order to maximise opportunities for cross-referrals where they do not manage Corporate Consultants.

To manage and develop a team of up to c 15/20 Private Client Advisers, Corporate and Self Employed Consultants.

To deliver an annual team target, which will be set by the Regional Manager, in line with the requirements of the business and its parent company.

Responsible for delivery and support for company strategy/regulatory changes and business quality.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 Minimum 5 Years Experience In Managerial Roles

Competent Adviser Status - Dip PFS and Diploma Level 4

JO7 or equivalent preferred. SM’s are expected to aspire to achieve this qualification

Proven success as a business leader with commercial and organisational awareness skills

Excellent knowledge and practical experience of advisory process within financial services, and similarly for corporate business

 Strong Leadership, Coaching And Management Skills

 Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and ability to deliver through others

 Excellent communication and time management skills

A strong background in PI and or Affinity Development

Benefits

There is a competitive basic salary of between £75,000 - £80,000 per annum + bonus and excellent benefits , OTE £100K+
