A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Ophthalmology Team within the Surgical Directorate in NHS Tayside. The post provides the opportunity for the individual to care for and influence the journey for patients attending ophthalmology out-patient clinics.

You must be able to demonstrate a desire to be an integral part of the development of care and services within ophthalmology.

Applicants must evidence a good standard of basic education, and have or be willing to work towards recognised healthcare qualifications i.e. SVQ 11 or equivalent level study in Health Care

Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

Internal - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.

Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months
