Renewables is one of the most important pillars of our joint strategic ambitions and our aim is to deliver more than 1 GW growth p.a. by 2025 The UK is a core growth area for us and we have a unique opportunity for a passionate, innovative and experienced planner to join our growing UK team and to help shape and accelerate our journey to delivering our goals.

  • Undertaking analysis of grid availability in the UK and to present opportunities for connection of renewables projects.
  • Providing due diligence and analysis of internal projects and projects presented by third parties (development partners or as part of acquisitions)
  • Working with DNO/TNOs to secure grid connections for the new projects, and to provide options to optimise connections.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and plant managers and be a conduit between the development teams and internal/external technical teams
  • Monitoring and interpreting technical and relevant regulatory developments and standards and to be able to deliver technical and non-technical reports to stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the electrical properties of renewable energy systems and their interaction with other electrical systems e.g. controls.
  • Be an active member in the growth of the renewables team locally and across the EU.
