About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Flood Risk Manager to join our Leeds Water and Catchment Management team. Our team works across a wide range of clients and geographies advising on flood risk management, sustainable drainage and civil engineering solutions. We are currently seeking to expand this team to support the delivery of an ambitious forward programme of infrastructure projects working with major public sector and private organisations. The successful candidate will be part of a team working on the development, design and delivery of flood risk management schemes.


You will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities. You will be supported by industry experts in this field.

You will have experience of working on the production of business cases for the delivery of flood risk management projects. You will be able to co-ordinate multi-disciplinary projects and support junior staff to deliver quality work to programmes and budget. Enthusiastic about planning and delivering innovative schemes to manage flooding you wish to work on increasingly complex projects and build your skills in project management, business development and leadership.

  • Experience of producing Business Case documents and associated technical deliverables.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, planning policy, guidance and design standards relating to flood risk management schemes.
  • Experience of co-ordinating multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong client facing skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography or a related discipline.
  • Chartered or approaching Chartership.
