A well established, £15m turnover family owned leisure gaming business which currently has 15 sites across the UK are looking for a senior accountant to manage the end-to-end financial responsibilities and manage a small support team. The role is office based which is located in Halesowen, Birmingham.

Role responsibilities:

· Full production of the month end management accounts

· Preparation of financial reports

· Balance sheet reconciliations

· Investigation and resolution of historic issues

· First point of contact for all financial matters

· Preparing Self-Assessment tax returns

· Payroll processing

· Management Accounts, management of director accounts

· Asset management

· Management of 2 Bookkeepers and 1 payroll assistant

The successful candidate will:

· Be fully ACCA/ACA qualified

· Have previous experience as an accounts senior within an SME

· Have 10 years + practice experience

· Experienced managing full end-to-end financial responsibilities

· Have skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Good attention to detail

· Be self-motivated

· Be resilient, approachable, flexible, honest and trustworthy
