The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to drive the business forward through strategic planning and daily operations of the facility, You will be working closely with the Director of Facilities, Senior Project Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure that the equipment, company resources and general infrastructure of the company is properly maintained in line with regulations.

In this role you ensure that there is a suitable working environment for Warner Bros Studio and Studio Tour as well as their client, acting as the point of contact for facilities issues

The Daily
  • Ensure all buildings are maintained in a clean and tidy manner and that equipment is serviced and operated properly.
  • Undertake both proactive and reactive maintenance through managing as well as delegating tasks to the maintenance team. This includes crating maintenance schedules, arranging and managing the Rota, whilst taking in account both holiday and sickness cover.
  • Carry out routine inspections of the site checking fire exits, escape routes, signage and general upkeep of the site.
  • Controlling and monitoring inventory as well as checking material delivery notes
  • Assist the Senior Facilities Manager and Director of Projects and Facilities with planned preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Deputise for senior management when absent and required.
  • Conducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance works. Once identified, you will perform minor on-site repairs as required and schedule contractors for works quotes in the case of minor or major repairs as required after obtaining required approvals .
  • Work with the Health & Safety manager to conduct risk assessments to identify buildings/equipment hazard with the aim of ensuring team and site compliance with applicable safety regulations
  • Ensuring all maintenance/testing operations are in accordance with UK legislation and standards.
  • Ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the head of department including staying on call and responding to emergency maintenance needs
The Essentials
  • Prior experience in within a multi-tenanted/multi-user environment.
  • Experience of leading a number of multi disciplinary teams
  • Ability to take initiative using own discretion and skills pro-actively to deal with routine matters and work in a pressured environment. Including ability to construct reports and reply to correspondence.
  • Proven experience of working within a customer facing environment
  • Strong administration and IT skills.
