An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior ER Advisor to be part of our team.

The successful candidate will be based at Enfield Civic Centre but will be required to work cross site, including all trust sites including the RF site (Hampstead).

Your role will be to support, train, advice and guide a range of all ER matters and mentor junior staff.

This role is advertised as a 6 month fixed term contract / secondment opportunity.

The current role you shall be working with Employee Relation Specialist for the Royal Free Business Unit Division’s providing expert advice and support as a Senior ER Advisor.

The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality Employee Relations advice to stakeholders ensuring they are in keeping with RFL Trust policies and procedures. The post holder shall provide guidance on sensitive matters, as well as coaching/responding to managers/staff face to face, by e-mails, MS Teams and telephone queries.

As part of the pro-active management process, you will be expected to develop strategies for managing staff sickness/absence and other ER policies and processes.

In addition you will be required to work in partnership with trade union representatives in dealing with employee relations issues and resolving grievances. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well in an environment with many differing demands.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic with experience of advising managers with employee relations issues, including providing expert advice on terms and conditions (AFC & Medical) and the management of staff.

The ideal candidate will also be expected to have knowledge of wider NHS issues, Agenda for Change/ Medical & Dental terms and conditions, innovative practice and creative thinking.
