Job Description: I am seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join the Electronics team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of embedded devices crucial to industrial IoT systems. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, creating innovative devices that enable low-latency processing of various technologies, including depth cameras, LiDAR, BLE, and RFID, as well as higher-level control devices.
Key Responsibilities as Senior Electronics Engineer:
  • Detailed concept design, schematic capture, and simulation
  • Generating roadmaps and timelines for project feasibility
  • Guiding a small team of Hardware Engineers
  • Leading internal design and test strategy reviews
  • Potential for customer-facing interaction
  • Managing requirements and specifications at a system level
  • Collaboration with various operational units to uphold technical standards
  • Liaising with Project Management teams to ensure efficient task allocation
Essential Experience:
  • Extensive experience in digital and analog circuit design
  • Electronic System and Architecture Design in highly regulated industries
  • Proven track record of taking concepts to large-scale production
  • In-depth knowledge of EMC test requirements and design methods
  • Proficiency with wired communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet
  • Qualified to Degree level in Electronics Engineering, Hardware Engineering or similar.
Desirable Experience:
  • Familiarity with High-Voltage and Alternating Current design requirements
  • Awareness of Agile project management
  • Proficiency in wireless technologies
  • Understanding of new wireless technologies such as passive UWB-based asset tracking
Location: This Senior Electronics Engineer position is based in their purpose-built R&D facility located in rural Warwickshire, overlooking picturesque countryside. A valid driving license is essential.
