Job Purpose

To lead the Alloga Operations team across Europe to deliver an excellent daily operation with a relentless focus on Service and Quality driving continuous improvement in productivity and capability across Operations to deliver efficiency and cost management.

This key position is open to suitable candidates located in countries in the Alloga network: UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, Norway, Czech Republic, with access to an office location in order to meet and collaborate with teams. Alloga’s network locations can be reviewed on the company website. The position is available on a hybrid working basis and would require approximately 50% international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all reports adhere to the Company Health & Safety policies and standards and that all accidents and near misses are reported immediately to the HS&E Manager
  • To ensure Company policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to in a consistent way throughout the business
  • To present the Operational KPI’s such as Transport Costs, OTIF, Volumes, Capacity and Operational Efficiency at the monthly Management meeting
  • Responsible and accountable for setting and achieving department budgets in accordance with the Company budget and 3-year planning process
  • To actively contribute to the develop and implementation of business strategy in order to support the achievement of financial and growth targets
  • Delivery of targets and overall accountability in Warehouse Operations, Transport, HSE, Facilities and Security
  • Resolving issues and managing risks, escalating these where guidance and support is required
  • Driving continuous improvements identifying opportunities for lower cost and higher efficiencies through process or new technology
  • Work closely with the Alloga Europe Teams, Alliance Healthcare and Cencora operational teams to ensure consistency in approach and to maximize opportunities to work collaboratively

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Significant experience and proven track record in a multi-site manufacturing supply chain and/or advanced 3PL environment
  • Previous experience of managing a large inhouse Transport Department
  • Senior Management experience
  • Graduate Level degree with CILT and/or IoSCM level 6 desirable
  • Thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to use initiative and judgment to make difficult decisions
  • Previous experience of change management and organisational design
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong project Management Skills
  • Knowledge of relevant aspects of GDP
  • Trained in all relevant SOP’s within 3 months
