EY People Advisory Services are currently engaged in an exciting global initiative, to drive workforce transformation for EY’s clients through the targeted upskilling and reskilling of their employees. As part of this, the EY Skills Foundry™ is developing a series of learning academies that will cover a range of current and future focused topics, that will be instrumental in helping to develop the skills of the future in the workplace.

This initiative has resulted in a number of interesting and challenging roles becoming available. These roles will provide individuals with an exceptional opportunity to be involved with a high-profile initiative, to interact with consulting teams from across the globe and to engage with senior EY leadership.

We’re recruiting for a Senior Digital Learning Project Manager to join the global product team, to project manage the delivery of multiple high quality, innovative, digital learning products, which form part of EY’s global Learning Academies.

Reporting to the Learning Director, the post-holder will work closely with the Academy Leads, Learning Design, Creative and Technical specialists, and with external vendors to develop and deploy world-class digital learning academes which form part of the Skills Foundry™ product suite.

This is a visible role that requires strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, excellent project management expertise, knowledge of digital learning design and development processes and commercial acumen. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Proactively manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity and act as a central point of contact for the Product Leaders, the Learning Director, and production team members throughout the project lifecycle
  • Close collaboration with, and co-ordination of, Academy Leads, external vendors and in-house Learning Design, Creative and Technical specialists to create learning academies to agreed global standards, to schedule, and to budget
  • Own and drive Skills Foundry Learning PMO activities including leading / facilitating regular project meetings, managing status updates and reporting to the Learning Director and Skills Foundry leadership, maintain risk log, manage the escalation of issues etc
  • Own and shape the project management approach / methodology and processes for the Skills Foundry Learning team, leveraging suitable project management tools and methodologies that work across Developers, Designers and external vendors
  • Project manager for projects to create global standards and implement supporting infrastructure e.g. Data asset management platform, accessibility testing etc
  • Responsibility for communication of project updates across the Skills Foundry team and to members of the product leadership team where required
  • Work with Learning Designers, Academy leads, Creatives and Developers to create and refine design processes that support the delivery of quality design solutions.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Technical and Learning Design teams to define the optimum design and delivery approach for working with vendors to create content for academies
  • Support the Academy and Learning Design Leads to evaluate academies for effectiveness and ROI against agreed measures of success and KPIs, leveraging global approach / methodology
  • Support the Learning Director to manage resourcing, initiating and facilitating recruitment activities where required
  • Liaison with Skills Foundry central PMO team where required
  • Be a problem solver who builds positive relationships both within the Learning Academies team, product team, and the wider EY Skills Foundry™ team – and with vendors and regional EY teams
  • Communicate clearly and with the confidence and proactively contribute ideas
  • Prioritise effectively and work on multiple project deliverables with tight deadlines
  • Keep up to date on industry best practice, latest trends and progression in the digital learning solutions / learning product market

People and practice management:

  • Lead collaborative sessions to help drive innovation and foster a culture of learning in the team
  • Define, implement and manage best practice development processes that enable the team to deliver high quality, scalable solutions. Proactively lead on improving existing processes / approaches where required

Experience, Skills and Attributes:
  • A proven track record of managing high profile, profitable digital learning products / projects / programmes which create value for clients across sectors
  • Significant experience of managing large projects for digital learning design and development teams and 3rd party providers to create engaging and impactful solutions
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of digital learning design, development and production processes across a range of content modalities and platform solutions
  • Excellent organisational, planning, prioritisation and time management skill with an ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment
  • Deep knowledge / expertise in using and implementing relevant project management methodologies and tools e.g., Waterfall and Agile Project Management in a digital/tech market space
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to proactively mitigate risks and overcome anticipated barriers to implementing solutions
  • Adept at resourcing, planning and scheduling
  • Demonstrable track record of building lasting client and internal relationships
  • A proven track record of proactively managing senior client stakeholders, including providing constructive change, influencing decisions, providing robust advice, delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues, up to C-Suite level
  • A passion for innovation, an open mind, and willingness to learn and grow within a diverse role
  • Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise
  • Have strong personal impact and resilience, and support the Learning Director to influence and persuade stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions
  • Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement
  • Be able to understand complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent eye for detail, ambitious for the quality of your work, and a constant search for excellence
  • Be skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members, and is capable of motivating teams to maximise performance

Ideally, you’ll also have….
  • A primary degree and post graduate degrees and professional qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. project management)
  • Experience of working for a digital learning solutions and product organisations
