A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to come and join a highly successful business as a lead development engineer.

My client is a global manufacturer specialising in Aerospace/Defence energetics.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a career progression and who is hungry to make significant changes within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of development engineers in the design, development, verification and qualification of electronic safety initiation modules
  • Technical compliance
  • Design new products
  • Improve existing products
  • Work closely with the development project manager to implement an effective rick management approach
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure the programme meets budgeted timescale and cost
  • Translate specification requirements
  • Lead up to 5 projects at the same time

Key Requirements:

  • Experience as an engineer
  • Design/Development engineering experience
  • Auto/Aero/Electronics/Energetics background preferred
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-starter, confident
  • CAD
