This is an IT Management role within CDIO’s Customer Compliance IT Team where you will be accountable for the successful delivery of IT changes and/or ensuring effective service delivery for either a specific Business Service, or part of the customer organisation.

The Successful Candidate Will
  • Act as the single point of contact to ensure technology change is business led but fits into the HMRC corporate IT architecture.
  • Represent CDIO on business senior management meetings/Project Boards and be able to provide technology consultancy on current and future business technology demand and its impact on the existing landscape.
  • Be the contact for business partners in your area to improve understanding of CDIO services; being able to translate technical concepts in a simple way is essential.
  • Enable the development and execution of business change programmes in line with HMRC strategic IT plans.
  • Own the end-to-end business service delivery for your specific area, understand the multidisciplinary business requirements and deliver all associated build and run activity.
  • Collaborate with other CDIO functions and suppliers and align with the end-to-end CDIO service management model.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical partners to agree the strategic direction for IT services.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all governance requirements are built into all change activity and conform with overarching security, risk and governance frameworks and standards.
