About the role:

As a Senior Data Analyst you will have advance knowledge and understanding of SQL and the ability to handle a variety of data sources in an efficient manner to derive data insights. You must be able to confidently present these data insights to stakeholders that would drive profitability across their business areas. You will also have used advance data visualisation tools, such as Power BI to bring the data insights to life.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and interpreting complex data in order to formulate relevant conclusions and recommendations for stakeholders
  • Supporting relevant stakeholders through quantitative analytics, and the application of appropriate advanced analytics for the business’s key initiatives
  • Managing and prioritising allocated projects to ensure delivery of high-quality work and on time to meet stakeholders’ expectations
  • Actively conduct research and development on the latest tools & techniques; whilst improving on current methods and introducing new ways of sourcing data
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to the wider team
  • Proactively developing insight and analysis skills and understanding of the market & business
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and driving initiatives of moving static reports onto a self-serve platform
  • Work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent high-quality management information and reporting
  • Build effective relationships within the business

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • 5+ years’ experience in advanced analytics and insight
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, consumer-facing business
  • Strong knowledge of multi-channel and multi-device engagement across digital channels
  • Ability to drive actionable insight from a myriad of data sources
  • Commercial experience using Advance SQL is essential and any experience in R or Python would be a distinct advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills and some VBA experience
  • Advanced Power BI using DAX / developer essential
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passionate about the internet, technology, and keeping track of new developments within the industry.
  • Web analytics experience in Google Analytics or equivalent tools
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail
