Our well-established client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst based in Colne. You will support the business in all areas of analytics and ROI analysis, working with and presenting to key business stakeholders in collating, managing, and delivering information to assist in key commercial decisions. You will also play a key role in ongoing and future project work including implementing a new EPOS system across the business.

As the successful Senior Data Analyst your duties will include:
  • Have full ownership of the SQL databases and ensuring data is kept accurate and up to date for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Creation and management of SQL produced sales reports along with relevant commentary
  • Sales and margin budgeting
  • Preparing weekly and monthly comparison and KPI reports as well as using the data to create informative commentary to support the business
  • Amalgamating data from various sources to use in data analytics
  • Analyse findings of data modelling to create suggestions for operational and strategic improvements
  • Maintaining and managing automated reporting
  • Project work to support the business with system improvements
Skills
  • High level of SQL knowledge essential
  • Experience using Microsoft SSMS would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of data modelling practices
  • Advanced numeracy and Excel skills
  • Experience of using BI tools
The successful Senior Data Analyst will be offered a competitive salary between £37,000 - £45,000 per annum plus a generous benefits package. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 08.30 - 17.00.
