To advance the global cybersecurity program, Qurate is seeking for:Senior Engineer, Privileged Access Management (PAM)to join their dynamic team.The Cybersecurity Privileged Access Management team reporting into the Senior Manager of Identity and Access Management are responsible for executing the roadmap for the development, support and continuous improvement of the enterprise systems used to manage privileged accounts (CyberArk and Centrify). The team provides technical expertise of the PAM tools to support least privilege, documents policies, guidelines and procedures, and recommends enhancements and process improvements to ensure operational readiness and excellence. The Senior PAM Engineers serve as subject matter experts for life cycle management of service accounts and secondary/elevated user accounts, provides guidance on application hygiene, account vaulting and break glass scenarios to a global customer base. They will also collaborate with compliance teams to ensure SOX/PCI compliance, identify control gaps and remediation activities for findings/recommendations.Oversees the development of technical PAM solutions by collaborating with service owners, project managers, IAM architects, IT and infrastructure teams, and other key process stakeholders to understand business issues and requirements and ensure minimal data risk and compliance regulations are met.Responsibilities:Advance the PAM roadmap and application by:
  • Supporting continual efforts to identify and vault privileged accounts, ensuring successful account check-out procedures, and password rotation
  • Supporting expansion of CyberArk EPM for local admin rights
  • Validating vault ownership and participating in member recertification for Privileged reviews
  • Troubleshooting issues with server connections when password rotations fail
  • Solutioning for consolidated Active Directory environment and growing reliance upon the cloud to include MFA, Secrets Management and SSO
  • Contributing to Server Build and Deployment workflows to streamline Centrify agent installation and user provisioning
  • Collaborating with IT teams and business units to gather requirements for new functionality
  • Serving as subject matter expert for PAM best practices across CyberArk and Centrify solutions
  • Participating in PenTest activities/remediation as needed
Support PAM governance and hygiene by:
  • Assisting with vulnerability management to ensure timely patching of PAM assets
  • Creating or maintaining runbooks, work instructions and workflow documentation
  • Developing or scheduling reports to support Compliance goals and monitoring activities for the IAM Operations and Compliance teams
  • Developing and maintaining the backlog of tactical, operational and/or strategic initiatives to reduce risk, increase usability and operational effectiveness and to ensure current functionality is still applicable and relevant
  • Ensuring platforms meet compliance guidelines, assisting in audit activities and remediating findings
  • Documenting and training IAM Operations team to assume governance activities, where possible
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with other IT teams, Business teams, stakeholders, external auditors, and vendors to maintain relevancy in solving business problems and ensure operational excellence
Requirements:Technical Skillset:
  • 5+ years working experience with CyberArk and/or other privileged identity platforms (i.e. Dilinea, -Hashi, PIM, etc.) in a PAM engineering capacity: designing, implementing and supporting solutions, workflows and controls
  • Additional technical experience working with Centrify is preferred
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and hybrid environments (cloud/on-prem)
  • Proficiency with PowerShell
  • Strong LDAP/Active Directory knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Project Management processes and guidelines
  • 2+ years of SOX/PCI experience
  • Solid understanding of identity management best practices, secrets management, MFA, authentication

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially through Teams or other collaboration systems
