What does the role involve?

Working in our corporate credit risk team, you’ll be responsible for underwriting deals for larger corporate customers. In our vehicle solutions business, our lending is asset-based, largely around contract hire and leasing of vehicles. You’ll be reviewing customer financial information including P&L reports, balance sheets and cashflow statements to gauge profitability and future performance.

Some Of Your Key Duties Will Include
  • Acting as a primary underwriter for major lending applications above £500,000
  • Writing reports and making recommendations regarding lending decisions
  • Presenting your findings to key stakeholders within the business
  • Acting as a Credit Risk subject matter expert in sales deal forums
  • Taking the lead on insolvency and fraud cases
  • Financial analysis of key supplier partners on behalf of the procurement function
What are we looking for?

You’re a highly knowledgeable credit underwriter with experience in asset-based lending to corporate customers. You have good knowledge of asset risk assessment techniques, insolvency case management and the relevant legislation.
