Job Description

We have a wide range of exciting new projects within our Real Estate / Property business across varied sectors including but not limited to; retail and leisure, residential, commercial office space, healthcare and defence. We are looking for a well rounded and well established Senior Cost Manger to join our business and hit the ground running on the exciting range of projects that we have. If you have experience in a variety or only one of these sectors at Lead Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager level, we'd be keen to hear from you.

This is an exciting time to join our busy team in our Manchester office, supporting our clients deliver some high profile projects and programmes in the Real Estate / Property sector across Manchester and the North West.

This role will suit individuals with experience in contract management creation, execution and analysis to maximise operational and financial performance, reduction of financial risk and continuous commercial performance. It will also be expected that you will have experience in commercial pricing, modelling and strategies to drive value for money for the client.

Qualifications

Ideally for us, your application will demonstrate hands on experience, success and sustained career development within a consultancy or tier one main contractor environment. We look for candidates with evidence of developed personal achievement through accreditations and qualification. Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for client facing candidates with proven stake holder management experience.
  • Full membership of the RICS (MRICS), or equivalent M&E professional qualification
  • Strong measurement and cost planning expertise (SMM7 and NRM2)
  • NEC contract management experience
  • Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
  • Excellent people person and great communicator, both client facing and team based
