An exciting opportunity has arisen to make a key contribution to the Road Network & Structures team. The post holder will be self-motivated, can work with minimal supervision and hold a degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered Civil Engineer status. With a working knowledge of legislation, including the Code of Practice "Safety at Street Works and Road Works", you will use your previous experience in highway design, road asset management and maintenance, design of road safety and traffic management schemes to improve the road network.

You will be based in Dalkeith with option to work remotely at times within a "hybrid" working model. Travelling to site will be integral in fulfilling the duties of this post for which a full driving licence is required.
