Somerset Care are looking for a full time Specialist Care Practitioner to join the My Willows team, our unique Home Care service completely tailored to suit the lifestyle of our customers. Unlike other services, our local and dedicated My Willows Home Care team visit customers at a time that works for them, offering a bespoke care service that works for the customer and puts their needs first.

You’ll be supported by a Locality Manager who will give you all the help and guidance you need and you’ll work collaborativeky alongside our amazing team of care professionals across the area. In fact, you’ll be joining our award winning My Willows team, recently announced as one of the Top 20 Home Care Providers by www.homecare.co.uk, something we are incredibly proud of!

This is a full time position, where you will need to be available to work between 7am - 10pm, including alternate weekends, in order to support our customers in the best way we can. You’ll need your own car and full UK license and will work across the Taunton area each day.

In this role you will ensure the highest standards of care are always delivered. Your responsibilities will include; supervising home care colleagues, carrying out direct care and medication observations, meeting new customers and producing their care and support plans, conducting risk assessments and of course doing what you do best....delivering exceptional direct care yourself.

You’ll need to be NVQ level 2/3 qualified, or be ready to work towards level 3, have experience in a supervisory role and be confident to step up in the absence of the Locality Manager. This is really interesting and rewarding role where you get to undertake the care duties that you love and progress your career in a more senior role.
