Senior Claims Team Manager – London Market

A rare and unique opportunity has arisen to join one of the insurance industries most highly regarded names as a Senior Claims Team Manager reporting directly to the Head of Claims within the business.

The role will be responsible for the management of a team of 11 Claims professionals across multiple sites. This is a purely people management role, you will not have your own portfolio as you will work closely with the Technical Claims Manager who will focus on all technical claims matters. It will be useful to have a claims background however it will be more important to have a London market insurance background which is what the team focus on.

Working alongside the Technical Manager you will provide development and support of the Claims team across a variety of levels of experience. You will focus on leading and directing the team instilling the company values and ensuring they exceed in all areas.

You will build and maintain a high-performance team culture, helping to create an environment that values and rewards our people’s engagement in our culture.

It will be within your remit to Implement the overall claim strategy for delivering a n exceptional claims service. You will be an integral part of a continuous improvement environment seeking out opportunities to evolve the claims service and proposition.

To be considered you will have a strong people management background with experience within London Market Insurance. This however does not have to be within claims, candidates with London Market people management experience within underwriting, broking or operational support will also be considered.

The role is a hybrid position which can be home based 2-3 days per week reporting in to the Birmingham Office with occasional meetings in London or Manchester. You will be rewarded with a first class salary and benefits package combined with excellent career prospects.
