Job Description Summary
.We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior HR Change Manager to join the Organisational Change and Implementation Leadership Team.

This role provides the opportunity partner on all aspects of organisational change across a couple of Business areas while also leading a team of Change Managers, driving performance, fostering a positive team culture.

The ideal candidate will have experience of successfully running and delivering transformational people change in and agile way across multiple business areas, with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a passions for developing team members.

  • SALARY: £71,825 - £84,500
  • HOURS: Full time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site.
We’re a centralised people change team within People & Places working right across the Group, delivering a transformational range of organisational change activity including restructuring, TUPEs and acquisitions.
This is an exciting time to be joining the group, as we dial up the pace of strategic change to enable some of the strategic shifts required to support our business to Grow, Focus and Change.
The environment is fast paced and very focused on delivery working in close partnership with the people partnering and the business teams.

What you’ll need!
  • You love working in ambiguity, are a self-starter and able to scope out and help deliver transformation initiatives, in a structured, logical way.
  • You feel at ease in working with challenging Executive level colleagues, are able to work at pace and deliver in a demanding environment.
  • A proven ability to effectively build credibility and strong, enduring and trust based relationships at all levels from individual teams up to Executive level
  • You’re an innovative problem solver; and will use your own experience and your wider network to bring in external perspectives and new insights to influence our work.
  • You’re experienced n developing and managing complex plans to deliver deliverables and business outcomes.
  • Specialist HR knowledge of implementing TUPEs and acquisitions with good experience of working with employment law and unions.
And any experience of these would be really useful
  • Support the development and implementation of the transformation agenda of the respective business area(s), driving through any potential restructures to conclusion, through effective consultation, in conjunction with any areas of specialism across HR and the wider business.
  • An ability to learn, quickly absorb new information and critically evaluate a broad range of issues, and be comfortable quickly moving from topic to topic
  • Proven ability to both develop and execute on strategy with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ type approach to your work.
  • Being able to show resilience when times feel challenging and comfortable being asked to work in an often ambiguous, complex and constantly evolving environment.
  • Out-of-the box thinking & creative problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement attitude. Whilst also being able to shape complex solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
  • Ability to proactively anticipate needs, issues and risks and take the appropriate action(s); including working knowledge of using agile methodologies in addition to standard waterfall project management techniques
  • Exceptional communication and customer management skills and comfortable dealing with senior customers in a clear and concise manner. Whilst also building relationships with the business, people partners and subject matter experts.
  • Comfortable in dealing with data and tracking core commercial metrics such as the performance against a business case
  • Sets clear direction and coaches others where required in addition to holding people to account where required
