ABOUT THE JOB:

Please note: This is a 9-12 month fixed term contract ideally starting from Sept / October 2023.

At McCain, we’re on a mission to banish soggy fries and revolutionise the foodservice industry. And that’s where you come in!

You will be one of the Category Partner’s where you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our fieldsales team and drive profitable top-line growth for our business unit.

We’re looking for someone who can turn insights into actionable strategies that unlock category growth for McCain and our customers. As part of this role, you’ll have the chance to develop McCain’s category leadership by creating compelling category collateral, supporting strategic initiatives, and improving our ways of working. We want you to be the go-to expert in the potato and hot bites category, sourcing and analysing market insights and commercial data.

Reporting into the Director, Category (Foodservice) you will also…

  • Become the potato and hot bites expert, analysing market insights and data to dominate the category. Understand the Out of Home market, consumers, competitors, and McCain’s performance inside out.
  • Lead McCain’s category and influence through exceptional customer engagement. Build trust with key customers to shape the frozen potato and core categories for mutual success.
  • Create cutting-edge customer engagement plans, delivering regular category updates and customized solutions for our Sales team.
  • Take charge of strategic planning in key Foodservice initiatives. Develop winning plans, align the business, and drive profitable growth.
  • Execute market intelligence activities, mapping markets and planning customer growth with the Freetrade team.
  • Support our digital strategy using Pardot to convert MQLs to SQLs, leveraging all digital platforms to maximize success.

  • Strong communication with excellent presentation skills, you’ll have no trouble conveying complex information in a captivating way.
  • Project management is second nature to you. You effortlessly handle multiple tasks, ensuring they’re completed on time and to the highest standards.
