We are Voyage Care and we are a sector leading provider, with over 30 years’ experience of specialist care and support. Here at Voyage Care we are recruiting a team of real-life superheroes who share our values and vison.

Voyage Care lives its values by promising to EMPOWER each other, work TOGETHER, promote HONESTY, be a leader in OUTSTANDING quality and to always be SUPPORTIVE in everything we do… Could this be you?

About The Role

As a Senior Care & Support Worker, you will lead a team of support workers to deliver exceptional care by modelling good and reflective practice. You will promote resilience and enthusiasm throughout the staff team to ensure everyone works effectively and cohesively in the best interests of the people we support. You will be involved in the day to day maintenance of support plans, reviews, medication, finances and supervisions in addition to other responsibilities and duties.

You must be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach as this will be a challenging environment to work in, although equally rewarding. You will understand the importance of reflective practice and be involved in debriefs and incident analysis to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individual.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you will have a hands-on approach to lead the team to support the individuals with everyday challenges such as encouraging and prompting personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are meaningful to the people we support.

Due to the nature of the role, you should have previous senior or leadership experience within a similar environment.

If you share these values and really want to make a difference, click apply now to find out more about Voyage and our broad range of benefits.
