Robert Walters are working with a global construction/engineering business to recruit a Senior Buyer. The role will consist of sourcing suppliers, bidding, negotiating, performance reporting, and acting as procurement lead for projects.
  • Based in Middlesbrough.
  • Hybrid working 3 days in the office.
Responsibilities
  • Developing and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure that they provide high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Produce and issue purchase orders in line with construction programming.
  • Produce and maintain Project specific Procurement Strategies.
  • Assess and produce reports on total project purchases against set budgets.
  • Ensure compliance of Suppliers.
About You
  • 5 years procurement experience.
  • CIPS Qualified.
  • Experience working on projects.
  • Used to working with ERP systems.
